Position: Full Stack Engineer

Location: Hyderabad, India (Need to work from Experian- Hyderabad office at least 2 to 3 days in a week from day one)

Job Description

Experian is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our FSD Product Development team. This is a great opportunity for someone who specializes in building large-scale, cloud-based platforms to access timely, accurate and relevant data. An ideal candidate will have built scalable applications that can easily accommodate and integrate different data sources and provide comprehensive data capabilities to all Experian products and delivery channels.

Responsibilities

What youll be doing:

• Analyzes, designs, develops, codes and implements programs and applications in one or more programming languages.
• Provides expert analysis and design of complex and integrated systems.
• Code and maintain advanced Java applications (with a focus on maintaining data quality and performance at scale)
• Supports applications with an understanding of system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting.
• You will be designing and implementing features using cloud programming in AWS and supporting migration of existing services to cloud technologies in AWS.
• Involved with the investigation and resolution of complex data, system, and software issues in the production environment.
• Under broad direction, designs and implements strategic partner integrations.
• Establishes, participates, and maintains relationships with business units, customers and SMEs to remain apprised of direction, project status, architectural and technology trends, risks, and functional/integration issues.
• Participates in the evaluation of new platforms, tools, and technologies. Develops and maintains internal tools. Performs other duties as assigned.
• Identifies potential process improvement areas and suggests options and recommends approaches.
• Actively participate and support Backlog Grooming process by working with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Scrum Team and other stakeholders to make sure requirements are properly captured in Stories that Scrum Team will be ultimately responsible for delivering.
• Lead and mentor junior members of the team.
• Research and implement performance tuning and enhancements to existing and newly developed systems to gain the most performance from existing Infrastructure.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

What your background looks like:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in a computing environment with Java/J2EE/Spring
• Troubleshooting skills, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to solve technical challenges
• Knowledge of microservices development and deployment lifecycle, networking and distributed architecture, security compliance, scalability configurations
• Insights on Service performance tuning and scalability testing / Security compliance / Service Discovery optimizations
• Should be able to support applications 24/7
• Good exposure to applications built on Java / JEE based technologies
• Experience working with Version Control tools (Bitbucket, GIT)
• Demonstrates proficient knowledge of engineering tools (configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers)
• Must have Experience working with RESTful web services (JSON, JWT)
• Must have Experience working with Java Frameworks (Spring, Spring MVC, Spring boot)
• Must have Experience working with React JS in designing UX/UI.
• Experience in Docker image creation and containerization is highly desirable
• Experience in Cloud Native development is highly desirable
• Experience working with SQL and knowledgeable on relational Database concepts
• Experience with LINUX/UNIX creating basic scripts using UNIX standard utilities such grep, awk, sed, etc.
• Experience in Jenkins Job creation for CICD.
• Strong knowledge of software development and project management methodologies is desirable
• Must have experience with Scrum or other Agile processes
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Passionate for continuous learning, experimenting, and applying cutting edge technology and software paradigms

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools - Dynatrace, Splunk etc.
• Exposure to IAM products like Okta.
• Experience using API Management gateways like Apigee.
• Building automated and scheduled pipelines for analytical processes.
