Job Title: Cisco ACI Engineer/Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cisco ACI Engineer/Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable and secure Cisco ACI-based data center infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Cisco ACI architecture, deployment, and management, as well as experience with automation tools and scripting languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Implementation:

  2. Design and implement Cisco ACI-based data center infrastructures, including fabric, endpoint groups, and policies.

  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other infrastructure components.

  4. Develop and maintain documentation for Cisco ACI designs, configurations, and deployment procedures.

  5. Configuration and Deployment:

  6. Configure and deploy Cisco ACI fabrics, including APIC (Application Policy Infrastructure Controller) management.

  7. Implement and manage Cisco ACI policies, including endpoint groups, contracts, and filters.

  8. Develop and maintain automation scripts using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Ansible.

  9. Troubleshooting and Optimization:

  10. Troubleshoot complex Cisco ACI issues, including fabric, endpoint, and policy-related problems.

  11. Optimize Cisco ACI performance, scalability, and security.

  12. Collaborate with vendors and Cisco support teams to resolve critical issues.

  13. Knowledge Sharing and Training:

  14. Develop and deliver training sessions for Cisco ACI-related topics, including architecture, deployment, and management.

  15. Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues and other teams.

  16. Continuous Learning:

  17. Stay up-to-date with the latest Cisco ACI releases, features, and best practices.

  18. Participate in Cisco ACI-related community forums, webinars, and workshops.

Requirements:

  1. Education:

  2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  3. Experience:

  4. 5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure design, implementation, and management.

  5. 2+ years of experience with Cisco ACI, including deployment, configuration, and management.

  6. Technical Skills:

  7. In-depth knowledge of Cisco ACI architecture, deployment, and management.

  8. Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Python, or PowerShell.
  9. Familiarity with data center networking protocols, including L2-L4.

  10. Knowledge of security protocols and best practices.

  11. Soft Skills:

  12. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  13. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  14. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Nice to Have:

  1. Industry Certifications:

  2. Cisco ACI design and implementation certifications (e.g., ACI-DE).

  3. Data center infrastructure certifications (e.g., DCICN, DCICT).

  4. Cloud Experience:

  5. Experience with cloud-based data center infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.

  6. Scripting Languages:

  7. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Ansible.
