Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for secondary school students (Grades 6–10).
  • Create lesson plans aligned with school curriculum and educational standards (CBSE/ICSE/IB, as applicable).
  • Assess student progress through class tests, assignments, and examinations.
  • Provide additional academic support and remedial classes when required.
  • Incorporate activity-based and technology-enabled learning to enhance student understanding.
  • Maintain records of student performance and provide feedback to parents and administration.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.

Skills Required

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Proficiency in using digital teaching tools (e.g., smart boards, online learning platforms).
  • Creativity in teaching methods to make math engaging and accessible.
  • Ability to motivate and support students of varying abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's in Mathematics or Education (M.Sc. / M.Ed.) preferred.
  • Prior experience in a CBSE or IB curriculum school.
  • Familiarity with modern pedagogical approaches and student-centered learning.
