Job title : AVP - Project Manager with AVALOQ

Location : Mumbai/Powai

Duration : Fulltime

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for
    Avaloq implementation, upgrades, and customization
    in alignment with business needs.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, vendors, and senior management, to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Ensure projects are delivered
    on time, within scope, and within budget
    using best-practice project management methodologies (Agile / Waterfall).
  • Oversee requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design, and testing phases for Avaloq-related initiatives.
  • Drive change management and ensure smooth user adoption of Avaloq solutions.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, risk assessments, and escalation updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance in Avaloq-related services.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, data protection standards, and internal governance policies.
  • Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Management, or related field.
  • Experience:
    Minimum 10–12 years in banking/financial services, with at least 5 years in
    project management
    and
    hands-on Avaloq implementation/configuration experience
    .
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Scrum Master, Avaloq Certified Professional.
  • Strong understanding of
    wealth management, investment banking operations, and core banking processes
    .
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working in
    multi-country, cross-functional teams
    .
  • Proven track record in delivering complex technology transformation projects in the financial domain.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
