Job Summary

At A2 Digital, we are looking for a knowledgeable and versatile Senior Web Developer having expertise in front-end and back-end development, WordPress CMS platform, e-commerce implementations, server management and API integration. An ideal candidate should have the ability to lead and guide a team of web developers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance business websites for clients using WordPress CMS platform.
  • Implement e-commerce solutions with WooCommerce and Shopify to meet client business needs.
  • Optimize websites for speed, usability and search engine visibility.
  • Develop custom plugins or modules as needed to extend CMS functionality.
  • Integrate third-party APIs with websites to expand functionality.
  • Manage server environments, perform server configuration and ensure website stability.
  • Conduct regular code reviews.
  • Research, design and implement technical specifications.
  • Lead and guide web developers, by providing training and support.
  • Plan development timelines and allocate tasks.
  • Manage multiple projects and deliver them on time and within scope.
  • Understand project requirements from the clients.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, content writers and SEO teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in WordPress development.
  • Must have: Experience with  server management and API integration
  • Hands-on experience in Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi, WP Bakery.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery , Angular, React and
  • Expertise in PHP,  Python or and frameworks like Laravel or Django.
  • Familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Proficient in managing servers, API integrations and web hosting environments.
  • Understanding of web security principles, compliance standards and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and their implementation in WordPress.
