Job Purpose

Hyderabad Analysis team consists of SMEs with varied experience levels in Local, Global and Piping analysis disciplines. This team caters to both local and global business needs. This is lead analysis engineer role and is based in Hyderabad. The role requires to perform FEA analysis of subsea production system and Surface Equipment products. Analyst creates, reviews and analyzes designs to ensure compliance to technical specifications, functionality and constructability. Responsible for guiding a group of analysts.  Needs to take part in design review meetings as an analysis expert.


• Provides the highest level of expertise on technical-technological solutions and engineering innovations.


• Defines engineering solutions


• Identifies and analyses risks associated with engineering tasks.


• Efficiently contributes to the client relations through presentations, meetings, interfaces, etc.


• Supports the knowledge development within the discipline by providing guidance, trainings and mentoring to engineers.


• Esures that engineering documents meet the general quality requirements, codes, and standards.


• Ensures that the discipline engineering deliverables are compliant with contract requirements (including budget), project QHSE plan and TechnipFMC and discipline engineering processes and standards.


• Approves design basis and coordinates design activities within discipline (including sub-contractors activities).


• Interfaces with other Lead Engineers and project functions

BE or MTech in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 10+ years of relevant industry experience with background in analyzing subsea/surface equipment preferredAnsys  tool knowledge is mustKnowledge of industry specific design codes like ASME, API, DNV, NORSK and ISOExperience in Oil and Gas equipment finite element analysisShould be able to do hands-on Finite Element analysisExperience in high pressurized equipment/Boiler vessels/Heavy EngineeringMust be able to verify and substantiate FEA results with classical hand calculation methodsProficient in Non-Linear analysisProficient in Structural and Thermal analysisExperience with welded and bolted structure analysisMust be able to work hands-on and guide team membersMust be able to estimate, plan and meet individual work requirementsShould be able to perform technical design reviews and recommend improvementsMust be able to participate in technical review meetings and discussionsMust be able to write, review and approve technical reports and documentsEnsure lessons learnt and best practices are captured adequately into Analysis techniques, project / product design.
