Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Production Leadership & Delivery

  • Own and manage the full production lifecycle across multiple client projects, ensuring milestones are delivered on schedule, within scope, and at required quality.
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog management, and milestone tracking with disciplined use of burn down charts, epics, and well-structured user stories.
  • Embed scalable production frameworks that balance client expectations, team creativity, and delivery excellence.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and accountability across disciplines.
  • Actively assess team strengths and development areas, implementing workflow improvements and coaching to enhance overall delivery capability.
  • Cultivate a culture of ownership, autonomy, and collaborative problem-solving where developers contribute meaningfully to creative and technical decisions.

Creative Problem Solving

  • Step in hands-on to resolve production challenges, unblocking progress and accelerating delivery when needed.
  • Collaborate with design, UI/UX, and engineering teams to align solutions with player experience and client expectations.

UI/UX & Player-Centric Focus

  • Partner with design and UI/UX stakeholders to ensure the player journey is optimized across client products, from onboarding to long-term engagement.
  • Represent the player perspective in milestone reviews, quality gates, and delivery decisions.

Process Discipline & Tools Mastery

  • Champion rigorous use of JIRA and other production tools, ensuring data accuracy and visibility through dashboards, burn downs, and reporting.
  • Maintain transparent reporting to leadership and clients through clear KPI tracking, including milestone adherence, rework rates, and tool hygiene.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of game production experience, with at least 3 years in a lead production role.
  • Proven track record delivering projects in collaboration with international clients or publishers.
  • Expertise in Agile production methods and advanced proficiency in JIRA.
  • Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and their role in enhancing the player journey.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching teams and fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders, clients, and internal teams alike.
  • Strong passion for gaming, with a clear understanding of player needs and expectations.
