Critical Skills To Possess

  • Bachelor?s or master?s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 7
  • years) in payment systems architecture and automation architecture, with mandatory experience in embedded and IoT device development for the payments industry.
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in the card data industry, including cardholder data environment (CDE) security.
  • Strong expertise with EMV standards, including chip card technology, transaction flow, and certification processes.
  • Strong knowledge of payment processing workflows, gateways, acquiring, issuing, and settlement processes.
  • Experience with payment standards and protocols such as ISO 8583, PCI DSS, 3-D Secure, tokenization, and encryption.
  • Expertise in embedded systems development, IoT device architecture, firmware development, and hardware-software integration.
  • Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), CI/CD pipelines, workflow orchestration, and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Familiarity with payment platforms like Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Stripe, Adyen, or similar.
  • Proficiency in software development and system design (languages such as Java, C#, Python, C/C+
  • for embedded development).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, and container orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of API design, RESTful services, and event-driven architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with Sales, Product Managers, Product Owners, PMO, and external vendors.
