Job Title: Manual Testing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Telecom Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of telecom domain concepts and requirements.
  • Testing Concepts: Excellent knowledge of testing concepts, test cases, and test scenarios.
  • Requirement Analysis: Ability to understand and analyze requirements (Epics/Features/Stories).
  • Test Case Development: Hands-on experience in writing test cases and test scenarios.
  • Testing Skills: Proficient in functional, regression, sanity, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
  • Web, Mobile, and Mobile Web Testing: Strong testing skills for web UI, mobile applications, and mobile web.
  • Functional Understanding: Good understanding of functional aspects and ability to upskill business E2E knowledge.

Technical Skills:

  1. API Testing: Exposure to API testing and integration, with experience in tools like SOAP UI.

  2. Database Knowledge: Basic knowledge of database concepts.

  3. Test Management Tools: Experience with test management tools like JIRA.

  4. Defect Lifecycle: Good understanding of defect lifecycle management.

Soft Skills:

  1. Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills for collaboration with North American clients and cross-functional teams.

  2. Test Reporting: Good experience with test reporting and analysis.

  3. Deployment Validation Testing: Strong exposure to deployment validation testing.

  4. Collaboration: Ability to work with QA engineers, developers, and cross-functional teams.

Key Expectations:

  1. Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.

  2. Develop effective test strategies and test cases.

  3. Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.

  4. Ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and solutionist mindset.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Experience in telecom domain and manual testing.
