About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our specialized surgical team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in providing exceptional support during complex dental procedures, with a strong focus on dental implant surgeries. This position requires a quick learner with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a true eagerness to work in a fast-paced, high-standard clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Surgical Assistance: Provide four-handed assistance to the dentist/surgeon during all phases of dental implant procedures, bone grafting, and other oral surgical operations. Preparation & Sterilization: Prepare the operatory by setting up sterile trays, instruments, and equipment according to surgical protocols. Maintain strict adherence to infection control and sterilization guidelines. Patient Care: Comfort and prepare patients for treatment. Provide clear, empathetic post-operative instructions verbally and in writing, ensuring patient comprehension and a positive experience. Charting & Documentation: Accurately chart and document all procedures, patient vitals, and surgical supplies used in the patient's electronic health record (EHR). Inventory Management: Monitor and manage surgical supply inventory, ensuring all necessary materials and instruments are stocked, sterilized, and readily available for scheduled procedures. Team Communication: Serve as a vital link between the surgeon, patient, and front office staff, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.

Qualifications Required Skills & Experience Experience: Proven experience as a Dental Assistant. Experience specifically assisting in oral surgery or implant procedures is highly preferred though not mandatory. Infection Control: Thorough knowledge of hygiene and cleanliness. Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate instructions and interact professionally with patients and team members. Attitude: Demonstrates a consistently positive attitude, strong work ethic, and high level of professionalism. Learning Capability: A quick learner who is proactive in seeking new knowledge, mastering new techniques, and adapting to changes in surgical protocols.
