Your Role
  • Analyze AWS spend using Cost Explorer, CUR, and CloudWatch
  • Implement cost-saving strategies (RI, Spot Instances, EC2 rightsizing)
  • Automate cost controls and alerts using Terraform and Lambda
  • Optimize S3 and RDS costs via lifecycle policies and performance insights
  • Develop chargeback/showback models and financial dashboards (Power BI, QuickSight)
  • Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to enforce FinOps best practices
  • Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and anomaly detection
  • Promote FinOps culture through SOPs, training, and governance
