Position Overview

We're seeking a passionate sports enthusiast and content creator to join our team as a Content Marketing Intern. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the voice of a growing sports app while gaining hands-on experience in content strategy, social media marketing, and sports journalism.

Duration:
 6 months with strong potential for full-time conversion based on performance

What You'll DoContent Creation & Strategy

• Write engaging, snackable content for in-app news feeds across multiple sports
• Develop social media content strategies for Instagram and Twitter
• Create compelling copy for push notifications that drive user engagement
• Develop content calendars around major sporting events and seasons

Social Media Management

• Manage daily posting across all social media platforms
• Create real-time content during live games and breaking sports news
• Engage with sports communities and influencers to build brand awareness
• Monitor social media trends and adapt content strategies accordingly
• Track and analyze social media performance metrics

Community Engagement

• Develop quiz questions and poll topics for in-app interactive features
• Monitor sports conversations to identify trending topics and opportunities
• Create content that sparks discussion and user-generated content
• Collaborate with sports personalities and micro-influencers

Market Research & Analysis

• Stay updated on sports news, trends, and social media best practices
• Analyze competitor content strategies and identify opportunities
• Research emerging sports and niche communities for content expansion
• Track content performance and provide insights for optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent graduate or final-year student in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field

• Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles
• Photo editing skills (Canva)
