Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced 
Azure DevOps Engineer / Azure Cloud Engineer
 to support and optimize large-scale Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Azure services, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting performance, memory, and caching issues in distributed cloud applications.

This role requires close collaboration with development and platform teams to ensure highly available, scalable, secure, and production-ready cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and support Azure cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and monitoring services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to performance, memory leaks, caching, and scalability.
  • Analyze system behaviour using 
    Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics
    .
  • Design and implement best practices for reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using 
    ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
    .
  • Build, maintain, and optimize 
    CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
    .
  • Work with containerized applications and manage workloads in 
    Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
    .
  • Collaborate with development teams to support cloud-native and distributed applications.
  • Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with Microsoft security, governance, and operational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with 
    Microsoft Azure
    , including:
  • Azure App Services
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Storage (Blob, Queue, Table)
  • Azure Networking (VNETs, NSGs, Load Balancers)
  • Solid understanding of 
    Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
    .
  • Experience with 
    Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics (KQL)
    .
  • Proven experience troubleshooting:
  • Memory leaks
  • Performance bottlenecks
  • Cache consistency issues
  • Hands-on experience with 
    Azure Cache for Redis
    .
  • Strong experience with 
    Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes
    .
  • Experience working with 
    Kubernetes / AKS
    .
  • Scripting experience using 
    PowerShell and/or Azure CLI
    .
  • Infrastructure automation using 
    ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
    .

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Good understanding or hands-on experience in 
    C# / .NET applications
    .
  • Experience supporting large-scale, distributed, or microservices-based systems.
  • Familiarity with Service Fabric is a plus.
  • Experience working in high-availability, production environments.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
