A Day in the LifeAs an People Manager role in the APAC Planning Processes, you will be responsible for:

• Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives in area of master data & distribution requirement planning that include making an efficient process for material extension, defining master data for seamless planning of material flow through system and network optimisation basis baseline and correct master data .

• Own supply chain service and inventory metrics. Leadership of regular cross-functional metric performance reviews

• Train the trainer for Blue yonder system and develop team with proficiency in system

• Lead global initiatives in development of blue yonder system and master data.

• Contributing to the development of the overall APAC Distribution requirement Planning master data hygiene.

• Identifies areas for data quality improvements from the reports available in PBI tool and helps planners to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, revisions, process control and improvement.

• Liaise with global MDM to improve efficiency of master data maintenance & assists regional planners in management, governance, and quality of master data requirements to ensure functional master data integrity across the operation is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements.

• Liaise with global as a APAC SPOC to analyze various key inputs to planning system on regular interval of time and recommend changes to regional supply chain leaders for effective planning output.

• Utilize BY/SAP to ensure correct flow of demand signals through the whole value stream and ensure accuracy of build prompts at manufacturing sites

• Actively plan and support new business initiatives, new product launches, product rationalizations, and agility transfers

• Partner with the manufacturing plants, developing projections of service recovery during periods of supply disruption, and taking proactive actions to minimize product availability issues and timely communication to global regions

• Identify and participate in the resolution of issues by employing strong analytical and planning skills

• Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.

• Recommend & Execute Robotic Process Automation (RPA) of repetitive activity.

• Motivate and develop team members

  • Analyzes, develops, and implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals.

  • Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns.

  • Monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONAL CAREER STREAM: Management and supervisory professionals with one or more employees who are focused on tactical, operational and some strategic activities within a specified area. Levels within the management career stream typically have six or more direct reports. The majority of time is spent overseeing their area of responsibility, managing performance, developing talent, engagement and inclusion, communicating business and operational developments, planning, prioritizing and / or directing the responsibilities of direct reports. Goal achievement is typically accomplished through performance of direct and / or indirect reports. A key responsibility of roles in this career stream is managing people. which includes: accountability for mentoring, developing and coaching staff on meeting/exceeding performance expectations and defined objectives, providing leadership to staff ensuring the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives to include defining performance goals and targets, conducting performance reviews, and staff 1:1s to guide performance management and employee development efforts and manage toward departmental goals.

Autonomy: Supervises team members or subordinate supervisors, providing tactical and / or technical leadership. May perform ongoing operational tasks. Receives assignments in task-oriented terms and delivers results according to established procedures.

Organizational Impact: Plans and establishes goals and objectives for a team, typically within (1) department. Decisions impact project or department schedules, customer satisfaction levels, or allocation of time or material resources. Typically does not have budget or P&L accountability, but may manage day-to-day elements of the budget (eg, overtime for staff).

Innovation and Complexity: Makes improvements to processes, systems or products. Problems and issues faced are difficult and may require understanding of broader set of issues, including multiple job areas or specialties.

Communication and Influence: Communicates with internal and external customers and vendors, across various levels of the organization. Shares and exchanges relevant information to reach solutions, and gaining cooperation of other parties .

Leadership and Talent Management: May be a second level supervisor of employees in the Support career stream, such as production, distribution or technicians . May be a first level supervisor of employees in the Associate or Intermediate level in the Specialist career stream . May be a first level supervisor of employees at level IV and V in the Support career stream . Leads, directs and reviews the work of team members in order to accomplish operational plans and results. Provides primary input to hiring, firing, promotion, performance and rewards decisions for direct reports.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution. Requires advanced knowledge of job area obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Required a Bachelor degree with 9-12 Years of relevant experience
