Job Title: Librarian

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Library Science (B.Lib / M.Lib) from a recognized university

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in a school library (CBSE experience preferred)

• Sound knowledge of CBSE curriculum support and age-appropriate reading materials

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, catalogue, and maintain library books, periodicals, reference materials, and digital resources

• Assist students and teachers in locating information, reference work, and research activities

• Encourage reading habits through library periods, book displays, and reading programs

• Maintain accurate records of issue, return, and inventory using library management software

• Ensure proper discipline, cleanliness, and a positive learning environment in the library

• Coordinate with academic staff to procure new books and learning resources as per curriculum needs

• Support library orientation programs and reading initiatives for students
