Role Description

We're building Jnanik AI Assistant– a next-gen conversational platform that blends AI with real-time messaging on channels like WhatsApp and SMS. We're looking for a Full Stack Developer who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys shipping end-to-end features that actually go into production.

You'll work across backend APIs, mobile apps, and web dashboards — creating impactful, scalable, and well-structured systems that serve real users. This is a full-time on-site position based in Bengaluru.

What You'll Do

  • Build and extend backend APIs using , TypeScript, and PostgreSQL
  • Develop mobile and web interfaces with React and React Native (Expo)
  • Design and implement clean, maintainable architecture using modern best practices
  • Integrate third-party services (Twilio, AI/ML APIs, SMS gateways)
  • Build smooth, responsive UIs and ensure consistency across devices
  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and improve reliability
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and feature discussions
  • Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to ship user-centric features

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4 years of professional full stack experience (JavaScript/TypeScript)
  • Strong hands-on experience with , Express, , and React Native
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and clean code practices
  • Familiarity with authentication flows (JWT/OTP) and integration with external APIs
  • Experience writing modular, testable code and working in git-based workflows
  • Keen eye for performance optimization and UX details

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to clean or hexagonal architecture
  • Experience integrating Twilio WhatsApp APIs or similar communication APIs
  • Familiarity with React Query, Tailwind CSS, or modern TypeScript tooling
  • Understanding of event-driven systems or background jobs
  • Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or basic cloud deployment
