Description :

The API Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable RESTful APIs to support system integration, particularly in DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) or financial platforms. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs that ensure seamless communication between systems while adhering to industry-standard security protocols.

Skills/Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in API development.
  • Strong proficiency in building RESTful APIs using technologies such as , Java, Python, or similar.
  • Experience with DBT or financial platforms and understanding of their integration requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of API security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and HTTPS.
  • Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualification:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and API gateways.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi (Speaking, reading & writing).
  • Fluency in Assamese preferable.

Responsibilities:

Database Strategy & Architecture

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for system integration.
  • Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
  • Implement and maintain API security standards such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug API-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in API development and security.
