Position: IT Network & Systems Support

About the Role:

A leading manufacturing unit in Gummidipoondi is seeking an experienced IT Network & Systems Support professional to manage the organization's IT infrastructure, user support, and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing industrial IT networks, ERP systems, and implementing new digital systems in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, servers, and overall network infrastructure.
• Handle IT helpdesk, resolve user tickets, and ensure timely issue closure.
• Administer and troubleshoot ERP systems, including item master, billing, and inventory modules.
• Manage CCTV networks, access controls, and IT security systems across the plant.
• Ensure data backup, firewall protection, antivirus, and IT policy compliance.
• Support hardware/software troubleshooting and maintain smooth system operations.
• Coordinate with external vendors for AMC, upgrades, and hardware procurement.
• Implement new IT software solutions, system automation, and cloud integration where needed.
• Collaborate with project teams for new plant setup – establishing network systems, CCTV, and server operations.
• Integrate PLC, SCADA, and industrial equipment into the IT network for real-time monitoring.
• Develop and maintain inventory tracking systems and ensure ERP-data accuracy.
• Prepare IT documentation, asset registers, and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Willing to travel to other company units as required to establish or troubleshoot IT infrastructure.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT system administration and network management.
• Latest IT certifications (CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent) are mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, network security, and CCTV operations.
• Experience in project implementation, network setup, and system rollouts in manufacturing environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to industrial automation networks (PLC, SCADA connectivity).
• Experience in cloud-based backups, remote monitoring, and IT analytics tools.
• Ability to train team members and enforce standard IT operating procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9, ₹45,000.00 per month
