Role Overview

We are looking for a
UI/UX Designer
who has designed
Learning, Edtech, or Gamified Mobile Apps
—especially those catering to
children and parents
. The ideal candidate should be passionate about
playful learning experiences
,
neuroscience-based interfaces
, and
gamification mechanics
that engage, teach, and delight.

You will work closely with product managers, cognitive scientists, and developers to create
visually compelling, emotionally engaging, and cognitively aligned experiences
for children aged 6–16.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the
    end-to-end design
    of digital learning and gaming experiences—from concept to final UI delivery.
  • Design
    child-centric UI systems
    that balance
    fun, focus, and safety
    , considering developmental psychology and attention design principles.
  • Collaborate with product and neuropsychology teams to convert
    cognitive skill models
    into
    game-based visual experiences
    .
  • Create
    wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design systems
    for mobile-first interfaces (Flutter-based).
  • Drive the
    gamification strategy
    — design badges, levels, missions, progress journeys, and attention dashboards.
  • Ensure
    accessibility, usability, and COPPA-compliant child UX
    .
  • Partner with developers to ensure
    pixel-perfect implementation
    and
    optimized in-game UX
    .
  • Conduct
    usability testing
    with children and parents to refine product flows.

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years
    of hands-on experience in UI/UX design for
    Learning, Gaming, or Edtech apps
    (must-have).
  • Proven experience in
    gamification design
    (missions, badges, rewards, feedback loops).
  • Strong understanding of
    UX for children
    — safety, motivation, simplicity, and joy.
  • Proficiency in
    Figma
    ,
    Adobe XD
    ,
    Illustrator
    , or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with
    Flutter/Unity-based
    UI handoff and responsive design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating
    interactive learning experiences
    ,
    game dashboards
    , or
    cognitive training products
    .
  • Experience collaborating in
    agile teams
    with developers and product managers.
  • Bonus: Understanding of
    neuroscience-based or behavioral design
    ,
    AI-based personalization
    , or
    motion design
    for gamified learning.
