Job Requirements

NTTDATA is seeking a highly experienced and hands on Technical Delivery Leader to lead our business Intellgence & Datawarehouse India delivery team at NTTDATA deployed on a prestigious US Health plan engagement. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the technical delivery (both projects and operations), design, implementation and management of our business intelligence & data warehousing delivery services from India location ensuring they meet the highest standards of global delivery that is to the satisfaction of our stakeholders both customer and NTTDATA while aligning with our broader business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic initiatives to continuously enhance data warehousing capabilities, leveraging emerging technologies and methodologies.
• Collaborate with the customer stakeholders and work with the team to architect and manage scalable data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with the customer stakeholders and work with the team to establish best practices for data warehousing architecture, including data modelling, performance tuning, and operational management.
• Collaborate with the customer stakeholders and work with the team to define and implement a robust data governance framework to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee the process of gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with data governance policies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data warehousing and analytics, advising on their applicability to NTTDATA customer
• Own end-to-end project delivery, from offshore, right from business requirements to putting functionally into production. Be engaged in the overall SDLC for the projects starting from high level business requirements, SAV (Software Architecture Value) board reviews, estimation, design, development & release.
• Provide technical delivery leadership to the BI & EDW development & support team (~70 + team members working out of India). Be the offshore point of contact for all technical delivery happening from India.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of technical leads, data engineers and analysts, fostering innovation and best practices. Work directly with offshore technical leads to ensure on time, within budget & escalation free delivery.
• Act as the offshore point of escalation and SPOC for any issues related to the daily/weekly/monthly Datawarehouse job cycles. Represent the BI & EDW delivery team on the IT operations governance forums for any day-to-day operational issues and be able to speak to the operational issues encountered and provide details on the issue and business impact (if any) & the necessary action taken. Engage with the broader cross functional Incident response team to represent the BI & EDW technical delivery.
• Take handoff from offshore from a technical delivery leadership standpoint, with support from offshore technical leads, on major incidents & major maintenance activities.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

• 10+ years of experience in data warehousing, data architecture, or related fields, with a proven track record of leading complex data projects.
• Hands on experience with ETL tools like Informatica, DataStage etc.
• Deep expertise in SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions such as Teradata / Oracle / Snowflake / Amazon Redshift or Google Big Query.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data governance principles.
• Demonstrable experience in managing large-scale data integration projects and leading cross-functional teams.
