Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Leadership
- Oversee curriculum planning, lesson execution, and age-appropriate learning activities.
- Ensure implementation of early childhood learning standards and teaching methodologies.
- Monitor classroom practices, learning outcomes, and student progress.
- Conduct regular academic audits and classroom observations.
2. Staff Management
- Supervise, guide, and mentor teachers and support staff.
- Conduct teacher evaluations, performance appraisals, and classroom feedback sessions.
- Organize training, workshops, and skill-enhancement programs for staff.
- Manage staff schedules, leaves, and duty allocations.
3. Student Welfare & Safety
- Ensure safety, hygiene, and child-protection protocols are strictly followed.
- Maintain discipline and a child-friendly atmosphere across the school.
- Address behavioural or developmental concerns in coordination with teachers and parents.
4. Parent Communication
- Conduct parent orientations, PTMs, and counselling sessions when required.
- Address parent grievances and ensure transparent communication.
- Build strong relationships with parents to support student growth.
5. Administration & Operations
- Oversee daily operations of the pre-school, including arrivals, dispersals, and routines.
- Ensure maintenance of school records, attendance, incident reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with management for resource requirements, events, and school policies.
- Lead school events, celebrations, and academic functions.
6. Compliance & Quality Standards
- Ensure adherence to school policies, statutory guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Uphold the values, vision, and mission of the institution.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education / Education.
- Minimum 5–7 years of teaching experience in early childhood education.
- Prior experience in a leadership/administrative role preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
