Job Summary:

The Assistant HR Manager supports the Human Resources department by helping to manage daily HR operations, implementing HR policies and procedures, and contributing to strategic HR initiatives. This role assists in areas such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with overall business strategy.
  • Support the full recruitment cycle including job postings, interviews, onboarding, and induction.
  • Help manage employee relations issues, including investigations and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate and support performance management and appraisal processes.
  • Oversee employee training and development programs.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Participate in policy development, review, and communication.
  • Assist with HR reporting and analytics for management.
  • Support organizational culture and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or HR certification is a plus).
  • 3–8 years of experience in HR or a related role, with some supervisory or management experience preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software (e.g., HRIS systems).
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
