We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Specialist – Transactional Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with deep subject matter expertise in the Open Twins mainframe system and the GC Flow workflow management application. The ideal candidate will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business needs into actionable solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of both systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify opportunities for process automation using Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

We will count on you to:

• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Open Twins and GC Flow applications, providing guidance and support to business and technical teams.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring clear understanding of their ideas and objectives.
• Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy through automation, particularly leveraging RPA technologies.
• Work with RPA developers and IT teams to design, test, and implement automated workflows that integrate Open Twins and GC Flow functionalities.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate requirements, project status, and solution benefits to stakeholders at all levels.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, user stories, and test cases.
• Support change management activities by assisting in training, user adoption, and post-implementation support.
• Monitor and analyze system performance and user feedback to recommend continuous improvements.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to workflow management and automation.

What you need to have: 

• Overall 3+ years of work experience as a Business Analyst or similar role supporting mainframe systems and workflow applications.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Open Twins and GC Flow applications is essential.
• Strong understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) concepts and tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry.
• Knowledge of integration between workflow systems and mainframe applications.
• Familiarity with document management systems and dashboard reporting tools.
