Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team in delivering large-scale Datacenter infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring, with proven experience in complex infrastructure or mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to align timelines and deliverables.
  • Perform critical path analysis and identify potential delays or risks in project schedules.
  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and S-curves for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track project milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics.
  • Participate in resource planning and manpower forecasting.
  • Interface with clients and consultants on project planning matters.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project timelines.
  • Assist in delay analysis, EOT claims, and recovery planning if required.
  • Support cost control and budgeting efforts with project control teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent).
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in project planning, preferably in Datacenter, Infrastructure, or MEP projects.
  • Proficient in project planning tools: Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle, scheduling principles, and construction workflows.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and project KPIs.
  • Good knowledge of project documentation and reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in hyperscale datacenter projects or mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of BIM tools, 4D planning integration (Navisworks, Synchro) is a plus.
  • PMP / PMI-SP / PRINCE2 certification (advantageous).
