Head of Organic

As we continue to expand, we're seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Organic & Content Marketing to lead our SEO and content strategies.

As the Head of Organic & Content Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO and content marketing strategies to drive organic traffic, elevate our brand, and improve customer engagement. You will oversee all aspects of organic growth, including content creation, SEO optimisation, and collaborate closely with PR, CRM, Social, and Product to drive performance and build brand authority across markets. This is a strategic leadership role for a proven SEO and content expert who can think globally and deliver locally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic. Stay abreast of the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Develop and execute a content marketing strategy that supports SEO growth and aligns with broader brand and marketing objectives.
• Collaborate with PR, CRM, and Social teams to create cohesive cross-channel content plans.
• Manage content localisation efforts to ensure SEO and brand relevance in local markets
• Develop our capability and approach for AI search and evolving search engine experiences
• Identify resourcing needs and build out a team of in-house and freelance writers, SEO specialists, and content producers
• Measure and report on SEO and content performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership
• Stay abreast of search engine algorithm changes, AI-driven search trends, and evolving content marketing practices to ensure continued competitiveness and innovation
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Paid Marketing, to ensure unified messaging and branding across all channels.
• Manage budgets related to SEO and content marketing efforts, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SEO and content marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role in a multinational, consumer-facing business
• Deep understanding of technical SEO, content development, link-building, and international SEO best practices
• Track record of delivering measurable organic growth across multiple markets.
• Strong editorial judgement and ability to develop compelling content across formats and channels
• Collaborative mindset with experience working across marketing functions (PR, CRM, social, paid)
• Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to strategy and optimisation
• Experience managing and mentoring teams and working with external agencies or freelancers
• Proficiency in SEO and analytics tools (e.g. Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog)
• Strong understanding of current SEO best practices, keyword research, and analytics tools
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on in execution.
