Dear Candidate,

We are hiring for Engineer/Sr. Engineer for our Material Management Dept @ SL Lumax Ltd. Talegaon Dabade, Pune.

Role & responsibilities:-

  • Source and procure automotive parts, components, and raw materials as per production and inventory needs.
  • Build and maintain strong local and global supplier relationships.
  • Negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms for optimal value.
  • Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and quality teams for NPD and vendor alignment.
  • Track market trends and raw material prices to ensure cost competitiveness.
  • Release purchase orders on time and monitor deliveries to prevent delays.
  • Resolve supply issues, quality rejections, and logistics concerns.
  • Maintain ERP-based procurement records and ensure audit readiness.
  • Drive localization and strategic sourcing to reduce dependency and lead times.

Preferred candidate profile:-

  • Strong understanding of automotive components, Tier-1/Tier-2 supplier ecosystems, and vendor development.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and APQP/PPAP processes (preferred).
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Equivalent.
  • Excellent Negotiation, Analytical, and Communication skills.
