We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Leader to manage our team of proprietary traders. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in algorithmic trading, strategy development, and market risk management, along with the ability to mentor, lead, and optimize team performance. This role requires a blend of strong leadership, analytical ability, and hands-on trading knowledge to drive profitability and scalability of our trading desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of proprietary traders, fostering a culture of performance and discipline.
  • Oversee the design, back-testing, optimization, and deployment of algorithmic trading strategies across asset classes.
  • Monitor and review team trading activity, ensuring compliance with risk controls and firm guidelines.
  • Collaborate with quant developers, data scientists, and risk teams to refine trading systems.
  • Analyze market trends and implement strategies to capture trading opportunities.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day desk operations, risk management, and reporting.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in trading models, execution systems, and strategy efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and develop traders to enhance desk performance.
  • Report P&L, strategy performance, and risk metrics to senior management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (4–8 years) in proprietary trading, with a strong track record of profitability.
  • Strong understanding of market microstructure, risk management, and trading systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with prior experience managing or mentoring a trading team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹50,000.00 per month
