The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Python Developer to join our core technology team. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing the high-performance infrastructure that powers our quantitative trading strategies. This role offers the opportunity to exercise discretion and independent judgment on critical tasks that directly impact our trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust applications and systems for trading operations
  • Build, automate, and manage trading environments through advanced scripting
  • Analyze, optimize, and refactor existing modules for maximum performance and scalability
  • Conduct thorough unit testing to ensure reliability before live deployment
  • Maintain code integrity and organization using version control tools
  • Contribute to the development and management of large-scale server clusters
  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to implement strategic solutions

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong fundamentals in Python, including Data Structures and File Handling
  • In-depth knowledge of Data Structures (stacks, queues, hashmaps) and Algorithms (searching, sorting)
  • Proficiency with Python utility modules (os, sys, subprocess, datetime)
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles in Python
  • Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
  • Practical experience with Bash scripting
  • Experience with relational databases; PostgreSQL is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic experience with scientific libraries (NumPy) and data visualization (Matplotlib)
  • Interest in financial markets or quantitative finance
  • Experience with high-performance computing or distributed systems
  • Understanding of software development best practices and methodologies
