Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Mechanical Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in MEP consulting to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting design coordination, project documentation, and conducting regular site inspections for HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Coordination (Office):

  • Assist in preparing HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting system designs in coordination with the senior engineers.
  • Review and validate shop drawings, coordination drawings, and technical submittals.
  • Conduct quantity estimations and prepare BOQs as per design specifications.
  • Support the design team in reviewing design codes and standards compliance (IS/ASHRAE/NBC/UPC/NFPA).
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants for integrated MEP design.

Site Inspections (Project Sites):

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure installation as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor site progress and highlight deviations, risks, or quality issues to the project team.
  • Coordinate with contractors for work execution and provide technical support during installations.
  • Participate in testing and commissioning processes and generate snag reports as required.
  • Maintain site reports, photographs, and documentation for all MEP activities.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Sound understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Familiarity with design software like HAP, DuctSizer, PipeSizer (preferred).
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Team player with good coordination and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks.

Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in MEP consultancy or contracting firms.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300, ₹600,000.00 per year
