Key Responsibilities

  • Review various I&C deliverables (instrument index, datasheets, logic diagrams, cause & effect matrices).
  • Ensure compliance with ISA, IEC, and other international standards.
  • Validate control philosophies, safeguarding logics, and integration of safety systems (SIS, ESD, F&G).
  • Review vendor documents for DCS/PLC/SIS systems and field instruments.
  • Support FAT, SAT, and pre-commissioning/commissioning activities.
  • Provide oversight on cybersecurity and digital integration aspects.
  • Ensure long-term maintainability and operability of control systems.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • 10–18 years of experience in I&C engineering for in a design and engineering firm, preferably in the Hydrocarbon Industries
  • Experience with major automation vendors (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Emerson, Yokogawa, Honeywell, ABB), is highly desirable
  • Previous Owner's Engineer/PMC experience preferred but not mandatory

  • Strong review and problem-solving capabilities, with focus on innovation
  • Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders and challenge contractor deliverables constructively.
  • Knowledge of advanced automation and Industry 4.0 tools is a plus.

Travel & Visa

  • 20–30% international travel plus domestic site visits.
  • US B1/B2 Visa holder preferred.
