Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cell Biologist with proven expertise in cellular biology and hands-on experience in the independent development of 3D printed skin tissue models. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, technically skilled, and capable of managing projects from cell culture preparation to functional tissue model fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently design, develop, and validate 3D printed skin tissue models.
  • Conduct high-quality cell culture, maintenance, and differentiation protocols.
  • Optimize bioprinting parameters for human skin cell types (keratinocytes, fibroblasts, melanocytes).
  • Perform analytical evaluations of printed tissues including histological and viability assays.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate tissue models into product testing workflows.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of experiments and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD in Cell Biology, Tissue Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of independent lab experience in 3D bioprinting of skin or other tissue models.
  • Strong knowledge of human skin biology and cellular interactions.
  • Proficiency with bioink formulations and bioprinter operation.
  • Experience with imaging, viability assays, and histological analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior work in cosmetic or pharmaceutical testing models.
  • Familiarity with GMP and ISO regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
