We're seeking a Senior PHP Developer with deep expertise in airline systems like PSS, DCS, reservations, ticketing, and ancillaries. You'll design, build, and optimize scalable apps/integrations, mentor juniors, and uphold best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead PHP app/API design, development, and maintenance for airline workflows (reservations, ticketing, check-in, boarding, baggage, ancillaries).
  • Build scalable, secure, high-performance solutions.
  • Integrate with PSS/DCS, GDS (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, Navitaire, Radixx), and APIs.
  • Mentor juniors on coding standards; conduct code reviews.
  • Optimize backend for high-traffic transactions.
  • Collaborate with QA, product owners, and airline experts.
  • Support CI/CD, DevOps, and releases.
  • Handle EDIFACT, XML, JSON for integrations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years in PHP (7/8, OOP, MVC).
  • Proven airline domain work (reservations, ticketing, DCS, GDS integrations).
  • API expertise (REST/SOAP/GraphQL).
  • Advanced MySQL/PostgreSQL (optimization, tuning).
  • JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3/jQuery for frontend.
  • Git, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Strong debugging, analysis, optimization.
  • Communication/mentoring skills.
  • Python experience.

Good to Have

  • IATA standards (NDC, ONE Order, EDIFACT).
  • Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Performance testing/monitoring (New Relic, JMeter).
  • Migration experience.
