Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chess Instructor at Battle Chess Skool in Bengaluru. The Chess Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality chess lessons, providing tutoring and training sessions, and guiding students in their chess journey on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 0-3 years of competitive chess experience, with a proven track record of playing at a high level (state, national, or international experience is a plus)
- Certification (Preferred but not required): Chess coaching certifications from recognized organizations (e.g., FIDE, USCF) are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in teaching or coaching chess is a plus
- Organizational Skills: Ability to track student progress, manage lesson schedules, and maintain records.
- Positive Attitude: A motivating and encouraging approach to coaching, creating a fun and supportive environment for all students.
