Overview: We are seeking an experienced Jr. PHP Laravel Developer to drive the development and deployment of high-performance, scalable applications using PHP (Laravel), , , and data management tools such as SQL, BigQuery, and Cloud Spanner. This role requires a hands-on leader capable of guiding the team through the complete development lifecycle and contributing individually to code development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Oversight: Define and implement backend and database optimization strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Architecture & Design: Develop and oversee the software architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability.
  • Code Quality Assurance: Set coding standards, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product, UX/UI, and DevOps teams to develop cohesive solutions.
  • Database Expertise: Design, optimize, and manage databases, particularly with BigQuery and Cloud Spanner, ensuring data reliability and efficiency.
  • Problem Solving: Address technical challenges and maintain system stability.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members, fostering technical growth.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, code, and processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years in software development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in PHP (Laravel), , and
  • Backend: Advanced skills in PHP (Laravel) and for robust server-side development.
  • Frontend: Proficiency in for building dynamic web interfaces.
  • Databases: Strong experience in SQL, BigQuery, and Cloud Spanner.
  • Cloud Services: Familiarity with GCP tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, and Cloud Storage.
  • APIs: Expertise in creating and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Version Control: Proficiency in Git and related workflows.

  • Effective leadership and team management.
  • Problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for varied stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education from a reputed institute.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Experience in performance optimization for high-traffic applications.
  • Familiarity with other frameworks or tools (e.g., React, Redis).
