Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Program Associate/ Senior Program Associate to lead our engagement with government organisations, research organisations, think-tanks, focusing on offering environmental monitoring solutions to local (ULBs), state, and central government agencies. This role requires someone who understands administrative frameworks in ULBs, landscape of air quality governance, government procurement processes and is passionate about contributing to environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic engagement plans targeting government departments and agencies at various levels (municipal, state, central).

• Identify potential government clients, understand their environmental monitoring needs, and position Aurassure's solutions accordingly.

• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in government institutions through regular meetings, presentations, and consultative engagements.

• Conduct research and stay informed on environmental issues including air quality, climate change, and urban flooding, using scientific methods and market insights

• Ability to build strong professional relationships

• Prepare compelling proposals, RFP responses, and technical/commercial presentations that align with government procurement standards.

• Stay up to date on public sector procurement processes, policies, and regulations to ensure full compliance.

• Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and policy changes to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.

• Participate in industry events, environmental conferences, and government exhibitions to promote Aurassure's brand and offerings.

• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM tools.

• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and report progress regularly to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Development Studies, Urban Planning, Geography,, or a related field.

• A Master's degree in Urban Planning/Environment Planning/Development Studies/Public Policy is required

• Minimum 2 years of full-time experience, with a demonstrated working experience with Government organisations (specifically with ULBs), and Research Institutions.

• Solid understanding of proposal writing, preparing & managing of DPRs,  government procurement policies, regulations, and tendering processes.

• Strong analytical research skills -ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, both orally and in writing, with fluency in English and Hindi.

• Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiate large contracts.

• Passionate about environmental issues, with working knowledge of air quality monitoring, climate change, or urban flooding a strong plus.

• Develop content that effectively communicates Aurassure's initiatives & technology, translating complex analysis into accessible formats for non-technical audiences, media, and current or potential clients

• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

• Hands-on experience in qualitative & quantitative analysis and using tools like QGIS, MS Office.

• Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events across India.
