SOC Analyst Intern

A SOC (Security Operations Center) Analyst is a cybersecurity professional responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security threats within an organization's IT environment. They are the first line of defense, investigating incidents, developing response protocols, and safeguarding the organization's network and assets. Key Responsibilities:
- Threat Monitoring:Continuously monitoring security logs, network traffic, and system events to identify potential threats and anomalies.
- Incident Response:Investigating security incidents, determining their severity, and coordinating appropriate response actions.
- Threat Analysis:Analyzing security events to understand the nature of the threat, its potential impact, and the attack vector.
- Documentation and Reporting:Documenting security incidents, creating reports for senior management, and contributing to the development of security policies and procedures.
- Security Tool Proficiency:Utilizing and maintaining security tools such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems), firewalls, and antivirus software.
- Collaboration:Working with other teams, such as network administrators and system engineers, to resolve security incidents and improve overall security posture.
- Continuous Improvement:Contributing to the development and refinement of SOC processes, procedures, and playbooks.
- Staying Updated:Keeping up with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in the field.
Job Types: Full-time, Fresher
Pay: ₹292, ₹1,185,502.70 per year
