A Product Photographer with editing experience is responsible for planning, shooting, and editing high-quality images for marketing and e-commerce. Key duties include setting up studio lighting and backgrounds, styling products, and using photo editing software to retouch images and ensure they align with brand guidelines. This role requires technical skills in product photography and editing, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with marketing and design teams to meet project goals. Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute photo shoots: Plan and set up professional product photography sessions, including lighting, backdrops, and props, to create visually appealing images.
  • Capture high-quality images: Use professional equipment and techniques to capture product images for various social media platforms
  • Edit and retouch images: Use photo editing software to perform color correction, retouching, and other edits to ensure images meet high-quality standards and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with teams: Work closely with marketing, design, and other creative teams to understand project requirements, develop concepts, and ensure a cohesive visual style.
  • Manage digital assets: Organize, archive, and maintain a digital library of all photographic assets.
  • Maintain equipment and studio: Keep photography equipment, such as cameras and lighting, in good working order.

Requirements

  • Proven experience: Demonstrated experience as a product photographer.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with professional camera equipment, studio lighting, and photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Creative and technical knowledge: Expertise in lighting, composition, and photography techniques, such as macro photography and flat-lay.
  • Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure all images are consistent with brand standards and project specifications.
  • Collaboration and communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage project feedback.
  • Organizational skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
