Qualification:

• B. Tech / BE / Diploma – Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Instrumentation

Experience:
4 – 8 Years (Preferably in Solar Cell Manufacturing / Semiconductor / Electronics Industry)

Additional Certification:

• Training in TPM / Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma
• Knowledge of ISO and EHS systems

Key Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of solar cell line equipment and maintenance practices.
• Hands-on experience in PLC, HMI, vacuum systems, pneumatics, and robotics.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and root cause analysis skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office tools.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle breakdowns efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Maintenance & Reliability

• Responsible for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of cell production equipment (diffusion, PECVD, screen printing, firing, texturing, etc.).
• Monitor equipment uptime, performance, and yield impact.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with production and process teams to ensure smooth line operation.

2. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

• Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules as per OEM guidelines.
• Analyze maintenance data to identify recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records of equipment health and spares utilization.

3. Spares & Inventory Management

• Identify critical spares and ensure availability without overstocking.
• Coordinate with utility and stores departments for spare procurement and stock control.

4. Continuous Improvement

• Participate in Kaizen, TPM, and lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency.
• Support modification and upgradation projects for process optimization.
• Recommend design changes for reliability improvement and cost reduction.

5. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain proper documentation of breakdown analysis, maintenance checklists, and calibration records.
• Ensure safety compliance during maintenance and adhere to ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 standards.

6. Team Collaboration

• Guide and mentor junior engineers and technicians in shift operations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production and quality targets.
• Support audits and provide necessary technical inputs to management.
