Job Description

Title: Java Software Developer Job Description: Design and develop software applications to enhance and maintain Java/J2EE based enterprise applications working in UML, Java/J2EE design patterns and MVC architecture. Perform code walkthroughs and enforce IT development process and standards. Design and implement MVC architecture using Struts Framework, which involve writing Action Classes/Forms and JSP pages. Develop web services using REST and JSON and test using various tools like rest client, postman. Maintain and manipulate Oracle database using SQL commands. Design and develop Oracle stored procedures, functions, triggers and PL/SQL modules. Dvelop the front end with JSP, HTML, Servlets, JavaScript and CSS. Implement Spring MVC architecture to send and receive the data from front-end to business layer and use JDBC, Spring JPA and Hibernate to interact with the database and implement database operations. Use Eclipse as IDE to create, test and deploy EJB components. Use MAVEN automated build scripts to compile and package the application. Deploy and test the application using WebSphere and Weblogic. Will work in Tallahassee, FL and/or various client sites throughout the U.S. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
