AEM Web Lead

Role Overview:
The AEM SME will play a key role in ensuring seamless site assembly, functionality testing, and operational guidance for the HCP portal and other web-based platforms. This role requires strong technical expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on end-to-end site performance, issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring site structure, ensuring alignment with best practices, and supporting site governance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Feature Demo & Documentation Review: Actively participate in all demo sessions conducted by IT for new feature releases in production. Review video recordings and Confluence page documentation to ensure completeness of the required documentation.
Assembly & Functionality Testing: Perform the assembly of demoed features in lower environments, verifying end-to-end functionality before production deployment.
Proactive Coordination & Communication: Identify gaps in processes or functionality and proactively communicate improvements or issues to stakeholders.
Subject Matter Expert (SME): Serve as an SME, guiding the team on site assembly best practices and HCP portal operations.
Cross-Team Communication: Foster collaboration by proactively communicating with the Microservices team and development teams to resolve issues or clarify requirements as necessary.
Training & Documentation Development: Develop comprehensive documentation for training site assemblers and be the primary point of contact for addressing their queries or concerns.
Technical Oversight: Monitor and report issues related to site structure, page performance, broken links, optimization tags, and other technical aspects, ensuring these are addressed before and after deployment.
Site Governance & Meetings: Actively participate in site governance meetings with cross-functional teams to align on priorities and strategies.
Training Sign-Off & Support: Provide sign-offs for the training provided by the operations team and review site handover documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Blueprint Development & Support: Participate in the development and ongoing support of the site blueprint, ensuring it meets operational requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in AEM, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to assemble, test, and optimize sites effectively.
JIRA: Experience with JIRA for issue tracking and project management.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to various stakeholders and tailor communications accordingly.
Problem Solving: Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and recommend improvements.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail in documentation, testing, and reviewing site structures and performance.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
Familiarity with web performance monitoring and optimization techniques.
Previous involvement in site governance and operational sign-off processes.
