Job Title: CAD Trainer

Job Summary:

The CAD Trainer is responsible for training students in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Revit, and other related tools. The trainer should ensure students gain practical knowledge and develop skills for real-world design and drafting applications in mechanical, civil, electrical, or architectural fields.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct theory and practical classes on CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.).
  • Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and practical exercises.
  • Guide students through hands-on design projects and assignments.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest CAD tools, versions, and industry trends.
  • Support students in portfolio preparation and project presentations.
  • Conduct workshops, seminars, and technical sessions when required.
  • Assist in course development and curriculum updates.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in one or more CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, CATIA, Creo, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of design principles and drafting standards.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging way.
  • Patience, leadership, and a student-friendly attitude.

Educational Qualification:

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering.
  • Certification in CAD software is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 0–3 years of experience in CAD design or as a CAD Trainer.
  • Freshers with strong CAD knowledge and communication skills may also apply.
