Lead React Developer

Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated React Developer to join our team to help build a cutting-edge project from scratch using Sitecore JSS, , and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and configuring complex projects, developing highly responsive user interfaces, and ensuring high-quality code through testing and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Project Setup & Configuration:

• Lead the initial setup and configuration of a Sitecore JSS and TypeScript project.

• Integrate frameworks like SSR (Server-Side Rendering), SSG (Static Site Generation), and ISG (Incremental Static Regeneration) for optimal performance and scalability.

• Set up and configure build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and development environments.

• Frontend Development:

• Develop dynamic and responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, SCSS, and Sitecore JSS.

• Ensure seamless integration with the Sitecore Experience Editor for editing content in real-time.

• Implement reusable components, hooks, and React state management libraries.

• Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Write and maintain unit tests using the Jest framework to ensure code quality.

• Implement end-to-end testing to cover UI and API integration.

• Collaborate with QA to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Performance Optimization & Security:

• Optimize frontend performance by leveraging best practices, including code-splitting and lazy-loading.

• Implement a robust Content Security Policy (CSP) and maintain high security standards for client-side rendering.

• Optimize the project for SEO using best practices in SSR and SSG.

• Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with backend developers to ensure seamless API integration and data flow.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups into high-quality code.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate in an Agile development environment.

Qualifications

• Core Technologies:

• Proficient in React, , TypeScript, SCSS and HTML5.

• Strong understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and Incremental Static Regeneration (ISG).

• 4-8 years of practical experience using above technologies

• Sitecore JSS:

• Experience with Sitecore JSS for creating seamless, editable components.

• Understanding of integrating Sitecore Experience Editor.

• Testing:

• Proficient with Jest for unit testing and ensuring code quality.

• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) practices.

• Performance Optimization:

• Experience optimizing web performance, particularly in SSR/SSG environments.

• Other:

• Experience working with Git and CI/CD tools.

• Familiarity with setting up projects from scratch, including project structure, build configurations, and deployment pipelines.

Nice To Have

• Familiarity with other testing frameworks like Cypress or Enzyme.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and SEO optimization techniques.
• Experience with GraphQL and REST API integrations.
