About the role

  • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of underground mining projects, including tunnels, shafts, and ventilation systems.
  • Utilise SAP for project management tasks and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including geologists, safety officers, and operations teams.
  • Proactively identify and address project risks and challenges to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all project activities.
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 1-2 years of underground mining experience.
  • Experience using SAP for project management and Power BI for reporting and analysis.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • A WA Shift Boss ticket (highly desirable).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on safety and compliance.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.
