Job Title: Senior .NET Engineering - Azure Backend Engineer

Location: Hyderabad

Duration: Long-term

Responsibilities

  • 12+ years of professional software development experience with a strong background in backend engineering.
  • Expertise in C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and ASP.NET Web Forms (for legacy support).
  • Should support, maintain, and enhance the existing Established application built on ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, and SQL Server.
  • Participate in the design and development of the next-generation platform, leveraging ASP.NET Core, Azure SQL, and modern front-end frameworks (React/Angular).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL Server – including database design, stored procedures, and query optimization.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Experience in ASP.NET Core and cloud-native application development.
  • Strong experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Storage, Service Bus, etc.).
  • Proven experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and microservices.
  • Build and optimize RESTful Web APIs for scalability and performance.
  • Leverage the full Azure ecosystem, including App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Azure Storage, and Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Apply best practices in software design, coding, security, testing, and DevOps.
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
