- Review inspections and testing of products/materials and produce reports on the results.
- Train, supervise and evaluate quality control team members.
- Work to resolve noncompliance issues within process and final inspection.
- Manage all the quality related issues within the manufacturing team and customers.
- Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the QMS (ISO 9001) and EMS (ISO
- Undertake special projects as required.
- Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product.
- Monitoring and manage KPIs given.
- Lead quality audits.
- Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), 7Qc Tools and Kaizens.
- Monitoring of quality at inward, in process, core drop, CMM and final inspection.
- Planning and utilization of resources required for the quality department.
- Review of quality plans within the department and confirm to the specifications.
- Ensure calibration of monitoring and measuring devices as per the schedule plan.
- Data collection and preparation of reports to submit to management as per the requirement.
- Responsible for quality assurance activities and implementation & ensure compliance as per the IMS standards.
- Implementation of continual improvement programs i.e., Kaizen/Quality circles.
- Analysis, corrective & preventive actions and dissemination of customer-related information.
- On-job training to quality team for new employees.
- Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis for the reworks/rejections and resolve problems by review meetings and instructions.
- To organize and conduct meetings for the quality review and rejection meetings.
- Preparation of CA / 8D for external and internal issues related to product quality.
- Support and lead process improvement activities.
- Lead and/or support groups of inspectors, engineers and senior engineers.
- Maintain/implement QMS and retain the records as per the customer specific requirement.
- Maintain quality records as per the IMS requirement.
