About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Executive with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience to join our in-house legal team. This role will involve handling a broad range of legal and compliance work, supporting commercial contracts, intellectual property, corporate governance, disputes, and regulatory research. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), partnership agreements, marketing collaborations, SaaS and service agreements.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain legal trackers, organize document folders, and prepare documentation for management reporting and compliance checks.
  • Intellectual Property: Coordinate with external counsel on trademark matters and domain name disputes.
  • Corporate Governance: Support corporate governance for all group entities, including documentation and filings.
  • Disputes & Litigation: Assist in dispute resolution matters including legal notices, court filings, and out-of-court settlements, in coordination with external counsel where required.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams and be a collaborative team player in all legal initiatives and business support.
  • Research: Proactively research emerging virtual digital asset (VDA) regulations and other applicable laws across jurisdictions.
  • General Legal Support: Support the legal team on any ad-hoc legal matters or special projects that arise.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B.).
  • 1–3 years of relevant in-house legal experience preferred.
  • Understanding of commercial contracts and corporate laws.
  • Prior experience with or understanding of the crypto, blockchain, and Web3 space is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and documentation management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in a technology or fintech company.
  • Familiarity with SaaS and platform business models.
  • Knowledge of emerging regulations related to crypto, Web3, or VDAs.
