Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview:

Payment Initiation Channel to initiate various payment types such as International Wire, Multi Bank, Wire, Draft and ACH transfers for Single Currency, Cross Currency, and Cross Currency Cross Border payments. Global Payments extensively involves FX conversion for cross currency payments, offering Real Time as well as Manual FX rates as per client preferences. It is also capable of identifying, classifying, and routing payments individually to various distinct downstream applications and clearing systems as per business requirement. Cashpro portal facilitates Cashpro Clients to – Input Payment, Approval, Reports, Repair, Delete, Template Manager, File Import, Preferences, Administration, Audit Logging, CPO Notifications, Fraud, Support Tools. Offshore GBS team support includes BA, Development and Testing related activities along with Onshore SMEs on the project management and support. This deck covers the current accomplishment, team`s learning progress and plans to enhance domain and functional knowledge of CPS offshore team.

Job Description

Senior Engineer responsible for driving initiative work and transformation efforts, accountable for overall delivery, leading cross-functional teams to define and execute the roadmap, enabling effective resource management and prioritization, and providing effective program governance and risk management. Additionally manage Production stability and Lower Region Stability. Provide L3 leadership in Production Triage calls, periodic review of the PBI/PKE prioritization as per client impact. Release leadership during Production Implementations, Organizing support during implementations and post implementations. Work closely with the release manager to ensure release coordination's with upstream and downstream applications. Implement proactive processes, engineering practices and automation to reduce Production issues. Experienced in Agile way of running Projects. SAFE Agile knowledge is good to have. Technical skills include Unix, Java, Hibernate, Webservices (SOAP/REST), MQ, JMS, Jboss, Oracle database

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and be accountable for feature delivery
• Mentor other Software Engineers and coach team on CI-CD practices and automating tool stack
• Expert in effective communication, coordination, planning with experience of working on cross functional global teams
• Expert in agile processes and standards, effectively managing 2 or more teams in day to day planning, grooming, execution and triaging
• Participate in Production triages and provide leadership to the Root Cause analysis
• In addition to providing leadership in Production Triage calls, participate in periodic review of the PBI/PKE and prioritization as per client impact.
• Release leadership during Production Implementations, Organizing support during implementations and post implementations.

Requirements:

Education: B.Tech/M.Tech

Certifications (if any): NA

Experience Range: 2 to 18+ Years of Experience

Foundational Skills:

Primary Skills - Java, QA, Pega, Mainframe

Banking Domain

Work Timings:

10:30 AM – 7:30 PM (If project requires, we might need to extend the shifts as well)
