BIMEngineer

At WhiteNodes, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated BIM Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with all aspects of BIM, from model creation to clash detection to construction coordination. He/She will be responsible for developing and maintaining BIM models for all projects, as well as providing support to the project team during the design, construction, and commissioning phases. The BIM Engineer will also be responsible for developing and maintaining BIM standards and procedures for the company.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all BIM-related questions and requests
• Manage and maintain the BIM model, keeping it up to date with the latest design changes
• Generate 2D drawings from the 3D model when required
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure that their models are integrated into the master BIM model
• Run clash detection analyses to identify potential conflicts between different systems
• Create construction sequencing simulations to help visualize the construction process
• Develop parametric families of objects to be used in the BIM model
• Prepare BIM deliverables for each phase of the project
• Train new users on how to use the BIM software
• Stay up to date with the latest BIM software releases and updates
• Attend BIM coordination meetings with the project team
• Perform quality control checks on BIM models and drawings

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or related field
• 2+ years experience with BIM software programs, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Tekla Structures
• Experience with other CAD software programs, including AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Bentley
• Strong understanding of building codes and construction methods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, architecture, or related field
• 4+ years experience with BIM software programs
• Experience with parametric modeling and scripting
• Working knowledge of Building Information Modeling standards (BS 1192, PAS 1192, ISO 19650)
• Certification in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or Tekla Structures
