Objective:
To manage and streamline accounting operations, statutory compliance, and audit documentation in a lean, fast-paced pharmaceutical startup environment.
Experience- Account year of experience required 5 to 10 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Pharma-Specific Accounting:
Maintain accurate books of accounts, including R&D expenses, clinical trial costs, and inventory valuation (raw materials, WIP, finished goods).
- Statutory Compliance:
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other applicable returns. Prepare documentation for drug license audits and regulatory inspections.
- Vendor & Receivables Management:
Handle payments to CMOs, CROs, and suppliers. Track receivables from distributors and institutional buyers.
- Audit & Internal Controls:
Prepare for statutory and GMP audits. Implement SOPs aligned with pharma quality systems and ensure traceability in cost accounting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate with procurement, QA/QC, production, and HR teams to align financial records with operational realities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.Com/M.Com or MBA (Finance); CA Inter or CMA Inter preferred.
- Experience with Tally Prime, Excel, and pharma ERP systems is desirable.
