Deep‑tech hardware engineering in the Quantum Computing & High‑Performance ASIC/SoC sector. We design and verify custom silicon and peripheral IP that enable next‑generation quantum control systems and specialized compute platforms. Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India

About The Opportunity
Join a high‑impact hardware engineering team building mission‑critical ASICs and SoCs for quantum control and advanced compute applications. You will own verification strategies for complex IP and SoC blocks, translate architecture and requirements into rigorous test plans, and deliver robust testbenches and automation that accelerate tapeout readiness.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define verification scope and create comprehensive verification plans for IP and SoC blocks (functional, corner, regression, and performance).
  • Develop scalable SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches, directed and constrained‑random tests, and coverage models to validate RTL against specs.
  • Integrate and run regressions using simulators and tools (VCS, Verdi), analyse coverage, and drive closure on functional gaps.
  • Build automation and CI for nightly regressions, debug failures, and perform root‑cause analysis to drive bug fixes to closure.
  • Collaborate with RTL designers, architects, and validation teams to align verification strategy with silicon bring‑up and emulation flows.
  • Mentor junior engineers in verification best practices, coding standards, and debug methodologies.

Skills & Qualifications
Must‑Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering or equivalent and 4+ years of hands‑on hardware verification experience (ASIC/SoC or complex IP).
  • Strong SystemVerilog skills and practical UVM experience for testbench development.
  • Proven experience with simulators and debug tools (Synopsys VCS, Verdi or equivalent) and coverage closure workflows.
  • Solid scripting skills (Python, Tcl) for test automation, log parsing, and regression management; excellent debugging and root‑cause analysis ability.

Preferred

  • Experience with emulation/FPGA prototyping, formal verification methods, and assertion‑based verification (SVA).
  • Familiarity with SoC integration, power‑aware verification, and working in CI/CD environments (Jenkins/Git‑based flows).
